Karen Pauli
Karen Pauli is a senior analyst in the insurance practice at TowerGroup. She covers a wide range of topics in property and casualty insurance, specializing in distribution, underwriting, predictive analytics, core systems and business optimization.
In her 25 years in the insurance industry experience, she has held executive level positions at OneBeacon Insurance, Crum & Forester and Safeco.
Karen is a frequent speaker at industry events. She has published educational materials for Rough Notes and is regularly featured in industry periodicals. A graduate of Bradley University, she has a B.S. in history.
Michael Laurie
Michael Laurie, co-founder and vice president of Strategic Development, Silanis Technology, oversees product and industry marketing and strategy for the company. With more than 20 years' experience, he is a recognized expert on enterprise solutions for the application and compliance of electronic signatures, vaulting and transactions, and frequently presents on these topics. Mr. Laurie also represents Silanis in industry associations and standards committees related to financial services, insurance and government. He is a founding board member of the Electronic Signatures and Records Association (ESRA).
